Flying gliders has taught me that a wide open, expansive view can have advantageous effects on a person's creativity. The view from the ninth floor of my office fuels that creativity. I look forward to the early morning hours looking out the windows toward the Getty Museum or Mount Saint Mary's College. Watching the weather change or watching the rain and wind wash the trees below is a real pleasure. We have televisions in a few of the rooms, but who needs television with the view I have out the window. Just sit back and let your imagination run free. It is actually very soothing and peaceful.
